Annapolis, MD – Buyers currently in the market to buy a home should think about continuing their search during the Holiday season in December. As of this writing mortgage rates are still very low and although most people are focused on Holiday shopping of another kind, if a home buyer can find a suitable property during December, they will also find sellers more willing to accept price and terms favorable to the buyer. Not too many buyers make offers in the later half of December and an offer looks mighty appealing to a seller whose house isn’t getting shown. Once the New Year rolls around and showings pick back up, the seller is more likely to see what happens with the next few showings they know will come their way.
So if you are in the market to buy a home, keep looking all through the month of December. If you can find a home that meets your needs and search criteria, you just might find a great buy!
